Description
This red oak film captures one of the most recognisable hardwood grains. A warm golden-amber ground is marked by a bold cathedral arch at the centre, defined by deep brown, near-black pore lines that darken along the curve before flowing into straighter grain at the sides. The result has the open, textured character of genuine red oak.
The classic mid-tone makes it extremely versatile for furniture components, cabinetry, gunstocks, knife scales, automotive wood trim, dash panels and restoration projects where an authentic oak look is required. Dipped on a tan base coat and finished with a gloss or satin clear coat, the depth and warmth of the grain come through strongly. The PVA film is formulated for clean activation and consistent transfer over flat and three-dimensional parts.
